My name is Ben Jones. I am the Principal at Jack Young Middle School in Baraboo. My wife, Michelle and I moved to Baraboo in the fall of 2007 together with our two year old daughter, Avery and our dog. We previously were living and working in Wautoma for three years. Prior to that, I was living in Reedsburg for three years and served on both the Baraboo District Ambulance and Reedsburg Ambulance Service along with my duties as a teacher at Weston School District. I grew up in Barneveld, went to UW-Platteville for my undergrad degree in 6-12 Social Studies education. I received my masters degree in educational administration from Edgewood College in 2004 and have been serving education as an administrator ever since. Michelle grew up in Reedsburg and has taught in both the Reedsburg and Wautoma School Districts. We are excited that I have gotten the opportunity, through this committee, to serve the county and the future on behalf of the School District of Baraboo and our daughter.
